H.E. Hem Vanndy, Minister of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation (MISTI), on May 2, 2025, received a delegation from TE Zhong Shebei Jianche Yanjiu Yuan (Cambodia), led by Mr. Long Xiongfei, to discuss advancing industrial safety in Cambodia.

“TE Zhong introduces China’s latest technology and expertise in safety inspection of machinery and equipment to serve Cambodia’s industrial sector,” Mr. Long Xiongfei said during the courtesy meeting. “The company aims to collaborate with MISTI across all aspects of industrial safety, including providing technical training for inspection personnel, to ensure the safety of factory machinery and equipment.”

Improving industrial safety is a priority for Cambodia as its manufacturing sector continues to expand. MISTI has been working to upgrade safety standards in factories and enterprises to reduce workplace risks and attract more investment.
